Wonderful Educational App for kids/toddlers

My 3 year old loves this app!! When we first started it she didnt do so great, but after sticking to it and continuing to try she is getting better and better. I think that is what its all about, being challenged and pushing through- while learning. She loves collecting fireflies! She feels proud of herself when accomplishing tasks and I feel great that my daughter is learning! Mommy win right here!

Great for beginners!!

I wanted an app that would make learning fun and exciting and this does a great job. My daughter is 3 and really loves tracing her letters, numbers and shapes. The narrators voice is very nice so she doesnt feel pressured, frustrated or overwhelmed when she makes a mistake and can just continue from where she messed up. She feels such joy and accomplishment when she completes a letter and really loves collecting the fireflies along the way. The activites are age appropriate. This game is affordably priced for those that want to interact with their children while they are having fun and learning. Its a great fun start to learning basic letter and number skills.

Just the right tools app for my upcoming preschool

The preschool, kindergarten learning app is one thing I would be interested to share with my son. Its the kind of app that has everything you need to learn base on the level of education. They have the tracing of numbers, you can choose a specific number and re-trace them over and over to fill out the jar for sort of a token. The alphabet is also wonderful for children to learn about the different word under a certain alphabet, though they only have one word designated to each letter, nevertheless we dont want to rush our kids with many words in order for them not to be confused. You can always repeat the work anytime you want with the simple directions they have. Tracing alphabet is quite interesting too, they will give you up to 3 stars to see on how well done you are progressing with each letter. The tracing are both in capitalization and small letters. The shape tracing is one of my sons favorite, it must be a boy thing, I like how attractive it is for kids. As the time goes on a child can always choose to try a more challenging activity. For the amount it cost I would say, its not bad. I would definitely recommend this app to the mothers who are looking for a great app and would like to spend at least $10 to have more than what you expect.

Preschooler loves it

My 3yo has been playing this app and loves to trace and name the letters. Hes big into his alphabet right now and these games help him establish that knowledge. The firefly collection is cute. I recommend this app!

Great preschool app!

This app is great for helping young ones learn to write their letters and numbers. As well as teaching them shapes. It is my sons go to app when we are out and about or even for quiet time. My son is going into kindergarten so it is a great brush up on the basics of what he should know.

Great app for 3-5 year olds to learn how to write and recognize letters and numbers

My three year old and 5 year old love this game. There are eight different games in this app: Three of them teach your child the numbers and how to write them correctly. There is one game for numbers 1-10, one for numbers 11-20, and one for 10-90, counting by tens. Then there are three games dealing with letters. Two games teach the child how to trace uppercase and then lowercase letters. The other game tells the name of the letters and shows and says words that start with that letter. The last two games have the children tracing shapes. One game is specific shapes like square, triangle, etc. The other shape game are tracing robots that have shapes which helps develop fine motor skills. It is a way to encourage educational learning while the child thinks he is playing. I would recommend this for any 3-5 year old, especially if you are wanting to teach these concepts.

Great early learning app

This is a fantastic app for teaching and reinforcing early learning concepts such as numbers and letters. My son, who is 3, loves this app! Its fun, engaging and interactive. I love the tracing feature which not only begins his concept of number identification but also fine motor skills. I also love using this app with my son, its perfect for spending time together as he is learning and having fun!

My daughter is OBSESSED with this app!

I just downloaded this app for my daughter and it has quickly become her favorite. Her favorite part (and mine too) is the handwriting activities. She loves practicing her numbers and shapes because she gets to collect fireflies as she goes. When she reaches 100 fireflies she gets to let them go & start all over again! I LOVE THIS APP because it teaches her the right way to write; in steps; first down, then across, etc. Not one continuous sloppy line like many of these handwriting apps allow. The only down side is I wish the letter writing activity had the same firefly collection activity to it. Although she enjoys the letter writing activities and getting stars she much rather prefer to play with fireflies as I see her doing those activities more. Otherwise I think its a fantastic app and will be buying all the in-app purchases.

Awesome App, My Girl LOVES it!

I LOVE Kid’s Academy’s Preschool and Kindergarten Learning Games. It’s a creative and great preschool supplement and educational resource. It’s an amazing learning app for young children. I plan on continue to use for a long time since my girl actually loves it too and she’s starting kindergarten next school year. My Girl can spend hours plying and trying to accomplish the goals. She repeats everything the Game says so shes learning a lot of english being Spanish her main language. Its really awesome!. I definitely think that every preschooler should have it.

Perfect! Hours of fun!

My daughter thoroughly enjoys this app! She is obsessed! She knows exactly how to open the game and play thru different levels that she currently enjoys. She now counts to 3 all by herself and she is only 21 months old! Ive noticed she works hard on the tracing. Im sure its hard for her to grasp the concept fully but she does understand that when the line isnt correct she can not move on. I have noticed a huge improvement in this. She is learning how to point at the different animals and make their coordinating sounds as well! This is WELL worth your money!

Love this app for my Preschooler

My daughter loves to ‘do school’ like her big siblings. She loves this app and feels like a big kid doing her fun school work. She writes many of her letters backwards, and this app is helping her learn how to write them the correct way in a low-stress, fun atmosphere. She loves collecting her firefly rewards when she correctly draws her letters and numbers.

Great App for Preschoolers

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, I liked that this app has an area to practice shapes that are used in forming letters. Since children learn shapes before letters I think that is an important part of this app. I also liked that the capital and lowercase letters are in separate areas of the app. That way it isnt confusing for children having both upper and lowercase letters next to each other while they are trying to learn. There is also a separate area for learning numbers all the way to 100! My daughter is still a little young for this app, but I can definitely see us using this in the future as she learns to form letters and numbers. It is engaging and fun and makes learning the alphabet fun!

Great App for children to learn how to write letters and numbers.

I purchased this app to prepare my daughter for kindergarten. The app helps children recognize/write letters and numbers. It features upper and lower case letters. It also features numbers 1-10, then 11-20, then it breaks off every 10 numbers, for example 30, 40, 50, etc. etc.. Theres a alphabet game within the app that teaches children to recognize letters by showing words that start with that respective letter. Also, theres another game that teaches children how to recognize and draw shapes. The game has a Progression monitor within the letter portion of the app, whichll help show how much better your child is at writing their letters(Star of Progression). This is a great app for any parent trying to teach their children how to recognize and write letters. In my opinion, the numbers and shapes are a bonus. Great App!!!

Needs a sensitivity option

My 5 year old initially loved it but its to sensitive about moving outside the lines. Not everyone is absolutely perfect at tracing but I felt my Son was tracing pretty well but the app kept telling him try again. My Son eventually lost interest.
